The Fourth of February commemorates Sri Lanka’s Independence, and is the country’s National Day. On this day each year, you will find the entire country celebrating it, along with the formal celebrations held in Central Colombo and Galle Face Green with the Armed Forces participating in the procession that is broadcasted island-wide.
